If you love the blues then you’re no stranger B.B. King and wouldn’t want to miss one of his four upcoming performances in Florida. Plus if you still haven’t decided how you want to spend New Year’s Eve let me inform that they’ll be one bluesy celebration taking place in Fort Lauderdale December 31st at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts Au Rene Theatre. Showtime is 9pm and following the concert, the free New Year’s Eve Downtown Celebration takes place just steps from the Broward Center. You will already be positioned in a prime location to enjoy the Downtown Celebration fireworks! Nice!
The blues legend will be performing New Year’s Day in Orlando at the Hard Rock Live Orlando in City Walk at Universal Studios Orlando. I can almost guarantee the house will be packed. Especially since Orlando will be flooded with visitors in town for the Capital One Bowl taking place earlier in the day at the Citrus Bowl. Showtime is 8pm and tickets are still available as of this posting, but I wouldn’t dawdle. The 5000 capacity building will surely be filled alumni celebrating their victory or maybe just celebrating making to the New Year.
On the 6th of January North Florida will be able to catch the reigning king of blues at the Florida Theater in Jacksonville and again at the Pensacola Saenger Theater on January 8, 2013. Tickets for all of these are on sale now. Just follow the link to find tickets and make plans to be a part of history. It’s hard to believe that at 76 years of age this amazing performer and songwriter is still going strong, on the road, living his dream.
