Mall shopping is not my idea of getting in the holiday spirit, it does seem inevitable, though! I find it difficult to keep the Christmas cheer as I’m sandwiched, trying to find that special something for that special someone. Where is the holiday spirit in steeling yourself against the crowd, making sure no one jumps ahead of you? I, personally, prefer avoiding the mall. I prefer rocking out to my Lenny Kravitz Christmas CD as I bake cookies and sip eggnog.. Problem is, before I know it, it’s Christmas Eve and I have not purchased anything!
Quick thinking usually leads me to the online mall! Here, I can seek out options that are still available then head out to my nearest drugstore. Several hours later, I come out victorious. Lame? Not at all!! Every person has a gift under the tree from me. Not just a gift, a gift they like!! So, how do I improve on this system? Well this year I’m swapping out some of my holiday angst! No, I won’t be venturing out to the malls, but I will be starting a little earlier, and may have to throw an elbow or two.
Because I won’t be doing my last minute holiday dash, I have time to share my shopping secrets with you! First, l pick up small unisex gifts that can be used for even the unexpected visitor that needs a little Christmas cheer. Secondly, don’t be afraid of the small, out of the way stores. They hold hidden treasures that others may overlook! Being unconventional means you’ll have the gift they’ll remember! Here are some of my list toppers!

2) An iTunes Gift Card and Charger – Great gift for a teen with an iPod product
3) Everyone has a coffee lover in their family. Jazz in it! A Turkish Coffee Maker
4) For Him – van-der-hagen-shave-set – an old fashioned shave set that will really make him look and feel classy
5) For Little Boys – Any durable pick up truck, wagon, train, lego type toy should do just fine.
6) For Little Girls – Most little girls love a new doll on Christmas morning.
