IDLE WARSHIP Florida Debut Performance TALIB KWELI with RES

IDLE WARSHIP is a musical duo composed of Brooklyn emcee Talib Kweli and Philadelphia singer Res, RES has appeared on each Talib Kweli album since 2000’s Train of Thought.  This duo act is definitely one to keep an eye.  Idle Warship will be making its Florida debut this coming Friday as part of the Live at Knight concert series.

IDLE WARSHIP will be joined by members of the Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO). This 11 piece chamber orchestra will be guest directed by Sam Hyken in collaboration with FUSE, the young patron’s group of MISO. Hyken will lend his symphonic ear as he and his eleven classical players join IDLE WARSHIP to create an unconventional way of listening to hip-hop. This performance will mark the first time that TALIB KWELI works with an orchestral section.
