The Florida Classic Returns to Orlando

Florida Blue hosts the Florida Classic in Orlando at the Citrus Bowl on November 23rd

This HBCU rivalry between the FAMU Rattlers and BCU Wildcats now enters its 86th year.  And since the first Florida Classic in 1978 this HBCU bowl game has evolved into the most watched football game between two historically Black Colleges in America surpassing the The Bayou Classic held in New Orleans.  One of the biggest draws of the Florida Classic is its traditional half time show which features amazing performances by the marching bands of each school.  This “Battle of the Bands” over the years has turned into major part of reason why many come to the game.
