Time To Relax

Fall in Florida is absolutely beautiful.  Let’s capitalize on it.  Fall temperatures in Florida range from a high of 78-88 degrees to a low of 68-78 degrees with very little rain usually.  Amazing weather!  Ok I admit it.  I am a northerner that moved here a several years ago and now, I too call myself a Floridian but I still remember being in NY during the Fall.  Things like the leaves changing colors and the memory of falling on top of freshly raked leaves just makes me nostalgic.  After all, back in the day I had my new “kicks” (sneakers) and fly new outfits (okay…School clothes) and all of the neighborhood kids were back from wherever they went for the summer, so the block was buzzing.  The Fall Festival would be coming up.  Pumpkin picking and carving was next on the list and my dad would roast the pumpkin seeds for us to snack on before dinner.  Before I knew it, it was Thanksgiving.  Family flying in and good friends coming over and everyone made their best dish. My dad ate until he had to unbutton his pants. DON”T TELL HIM I SHARED THAT….   As the quests left everyone mentioned how much fun they had and how they couldn’t wait to do it again.  Oh wait! We were only going to have to wait 30 days to do it all over again at someone else’s house.  So fall to me was just the beginning of three great months of booked weekends spent laughing, playing, partying or shopping. It was heaven.  Now that I am in Florida and an adult everyone can come over to my place. I get to rebuild all of my favorite memories and make a few new ones of my own, and the best thing of all is I get to do it all in this amazing weather.  Don’t let this wonderful time of year go by without making some new memories for you and yours too.  Here’s a list of events to get you started.
